The North Kingstown Food Pantry is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that strives to eliminate hunger in their community. They operate a fully donation-based food pantry to help with short-term diet needs for their clients. This is a great opportunity to help alleviate hunger and help low-income residents gain access to a healthy diet. Plus, it's a great way to meet people and get involved locally.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Take clients shopping around the food pantry to ensure they are taking the correct amounts of items

  • Data entry - only needed once a month

  • Limited position for shelf stocking due to space

  • Potential opportunity to help senior and adults with disabilities gain access to food boxes to supplement their diets (take them once a month)
