 SRIV offers meaningful opportunities to help those in need. SRIV’s dedicated staff assists our new and seasoned volunteers achieve personal service goals!  With 25 plus locations to put your skills and interests into action making our communities great places to live, work and age in; there is something for everyone at SRIV!                 

Step 1: Complete the volunteer sign-up form below

Step 2: Volunteers 18+ must complete a criminal history background check. For volunteers 18 to 61 years of age, SRIV will need a copy of your license and $5 in cash or a check made out to the Rhode Island Attorney General to process the background check. For those volunteers 62 years of age or older the Attorney General requires no fee. You must also fill out the Attorney General Disclaimer - the form must be notarized, which can be done at our office by members of our staff or by any Rhode Island notary.

Step 4: Make an appointment to meet with Megan Corey, our coordinator for programs/services at our main office for orientation and to help us match you to the perfect opportunity for your goals. (All forms listed above, including registration, can be completed at orientation as well.
