Rolling Library
The Women's Club of South County and local libraries, in cooperation with SHO jointly operate a Rolling Library for South County residents who are receiving Meals on Wheels or living in nursing-care facilities.
Participants can have library books or magazines delivered to their homes about once in two weeks, and each recipient can have two books for a period of two weeks. Volunteers drop off the books and pick them up for return.
SHO also offers the Mobile Library, a similar service using a comparatively small selection of books that have been donated to us. These books also are delivered and picked up by Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers.
