As a recreational resource, the senior center, also known as Beechwood House, offers a wide variety of programs and classes, ranging from Bingo to yoga, to enhance the lifestyles of older adults. It also offers such Health Wellness programs as health clinics, glaucoma and cholesterol screenings and podiatry services.

Beechwood House also provides social services, including staff people who can assess problems brought to their attention by concerned parties and refer them to the appropriate authorities.
