Beechwood House Senior Center
10 Beach Street
North Kingstown, RI 02852

This Victorian house in Wickford once served as the home of a governor, and later was an inn. The town acquired the house in 1968 and after extensive renovations it opened in 1975 as a senior center. As such, Beechwood House is a community focal point where older adults come together for a variety of services and activities. It also serves as a resource for the entire community for information on aging, including support for family caregivers, training professionals, lay leaders and students, and for developing innovative approaches to addressing aging issues.
